Break-in at Valley View school

•Police responded to an alarm at Valley View Elementary School, 1400 S. Washington Ave., on Sunday. When officers arrived, they discovered a broken window on the west side of the building with several drops of blood. A juvenile was found inside the building with a cut on his hand. Nothing had been taken.

•Police were dispatched to Sonic, 1718 S. Main St., on Monday following a burglary where $25 worth of toilet paper, a chain saw, a 150-foot extension cord, a credit card machine and sensor for the grill were reported missing. Total estimated value of items taken is $775.

•Police went to the Town and Country Store, 1219 E. Second St., early Tuesday to answer an alarm. The glass in both doors had been broken and two rocks were found inside the building. Video footage revealed three Hispanic males wearing gloves, their faces covered to avoid identification. The suspects took four 18-packs of beer. One suspect vaulted behind the counter and took two packs of cigarettes.

•On Monday, police were called to 900 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue, where the victim reported that someone had gone through his bedroom drawers and his rent money was gone along with a DVD player. Total value of DVD combined with missing cash is $750. There were no signs of forced entry.

Larceny

Police were dispatched to the 500 block of South Union Avenue on Monday. The victim stated that since June 2, jewelry, worth $900, has been disappearing. 

Criminal damage

Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of North Mesa Avenue on Tuesday where someone had tagged on the back doors and fences of two different residences.
