A Million Times
A million times we’ve missed you,
A million times we’ve cried,
If love could have saved you,
You never would have died.
Things we feel most deeply
Are the hardest things to say.
Our dearest one, we have loved you,
In a very special way.
We often sit and think of you,
And think of how you died;
To think we all got to say good-bye,
Before you closed your eyes.
No one can know our loneliness,
No one can see us weeping;
All our tears from aching hearts,
While others are sleeping.
If we had one lifetime wish,
A dream that could come true,
We’d pray to God,
With all our hearts,
For yesterday and you!!!

He passed in the comfort of his own home in a room full of love with his family by his side. He leaves behind his wife, Lois, to whom he was a wonderful and caring husband of 58 years. He was a supportive, understanding and loving father to Donna her husband, Bob, Don his wife, Margaret, Kelly and Chip, and Sandy and Patty. He was known to his grandchildren simply as “Pap.” He was so very proud of all his grandchildren, Michael, David, Marissa,“Doc,” Marc, Miranda, Tori, Matthew, Kenny and Cole. “Even though his hands no longer did what he wanted, he now paints the morning skies
Even though his legs could no longer carry him, he now walks among the Heavens
Even though his voice was no longer understood and at time not even heard, he now talks like he once had to those who already said their ‘Good-Byes’
Even though he could no longer eat, he now enjoys whatever he desires
Even though he is no longer with us, he forever will be in our hearts our thoughts and our memories.” — Kelly
