Mine That Bird feted by lawmakers

Lawmakers recently found something they could all agree on late last week and unanimously voted to award Mine That Bird as the New Mexico Horse of the Year for 2009.

The horse that won the 2009 Kentucky Derby in an amazing upset was recognized by both houses of the state Legislature Friday.
